Renee Zellweger Makes Directing Debut
Renee Zellweger is set to make her directorial debut with comedy 4 ½ minutes. The Bridget Jones star is also set to appear in the film alongside Jackass veteran Johnny Knoxville. The film is inspired by the real life experiences of comedian Dov Davidoff. Knoxville will be taking on the role as the ‘commitment-phobic train wreck comedian’ who reluctantly takes on the challenge of becoming caretaker of a genius child on behalf of a struggling single mother (Zelleweger).
Sadly it won’t be possible to use the adorable kid from Jerry Maguire, but hopefully armed with another equally precocious child Zelleweger will start production in February 2013.
