Sam Claflin and Eddie Redmayne have joined the ever growing list of dashing young actors linked to the part of Harry Osborn in superhero sequel The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

Douglas Booth, Boyd Holbrook, Dane DeHaan, Alden Ehrenreich and Brady Corbet have all also been linked with the role. Directed by Marc Webb the next installment in Sony’s rebooted Spider-Man franchise will swing its way into cinemas on 18^th April 2014. Andrew Garfield will return as the masked web-crawler Peter Parker, with Emma Stone as love interest Gwen Stacey.

Time will tell who beats out the competition for the role, but Sam Claflin may have a slight disadvantage as his packed schedule already has The Hunger Games and Snow White And The Huntsman sequels in it.
