Today ELLE UK announced that supermodel and tech entrepreneur, Karlie Kloss, will be winning an ELLE Style Award for ‘Inspiring Woman of The Year’ at the awards ceremony next week. Kloss will formally receive her award at the ELLE Style Awards ceremony, the official closing party for London Fashion Week, taking place Tuesday, 23^rd February.

The ‘Inspiring Woman of the Year’ category is a new addition to the annual ELLE Style Awards that honours and recognises Kloss’s motivating contribution to the industry as well as her entrepreneurial and philanthropic work. Karlie Kloss has launched various charitable initiativesincluding her scholarship programme ‘Kode with Karlie’ that inspires a new generation of women to learn to code. The influential supermodel has graced international catwalks and has long been a favourite of ELLE UK, appearing on the cover and guest editing its Tech Trailblazers March Issue.

The ELLE Style Awards, in association with H&M, is the most talked about fashion event of the season and this year’s awards are set to be bigger than ever before. In 2016 film stars, pop royalty and global style icons will come together to celebrate the most stylish stars, the brightest emerging talent and fashion’s greatest achievers. Other coveted ELLE Style Awards categories include; H&M’s Conscious Award, Outstanding Contribution to Fashion and Female Artist of the Year.
