Adele Sings New Skyfall Bond Theme Song
MGM have officially confirmed that British singer-songwriter sensation Adele will be providing the official theme song for Skyfall, Daniel Craig’s much anticipated and long delayed third outing as 007 MI6 super spy James Bond.
Following in the musical footstep of iconic divas like Dame Shirley Bassey, Adele will be lending her recognisably powerful vocals to a self-penned song to open the 23rd Bond film. Following in the tradition of previous Bond themes, the song is also called Skyfall.
Adele seemed an inevitable choice for the honour, with her international acclaim across both sides of the Atlantic combined with a clearly appropriate musical style. Her most recent album 21 has been officially crowned as the longest running number one album by a female solo artist on the UK and US Albums Chart.
The World Premiere for new Bond Film Skyfall is officially confirmed for 23rd October at The Royal Albert Hall. The Prince Of Wales, The Duchess Of Cornwall, Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench,Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Bérénice Marlohe, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw and Director Sam Mendes are all confirmed to be attending the red carpet launch.
