PUKKA FILMS is delighted to be hosting a charity fundraising event to launch the home entertainment release of KAJAKI The True Story on 4th June at the Imperial War Museum. The event is a private, invite only affair and will be attended by the filmmakers, cast, veterans on whom the film is based, military personnel, MPs, the charities and other invited guests.
A special screening of the film will be followed by a red carpet drinks and canapés reception, and readings of letters, diary entries and poems from the Afghan Conflict by veterans, celebrities and those connected to the film.
There will also be an exclusive charity auction with prizes including two VIP tickets to the Monaco Grand Prix 2016 with hospitality, and an overnight stay and round of golf at Gleneagles.
All proceeds of the event will go to the military charities supported by the film, Help for Heroes, The Hashemite Commission for Disabled Soldiers, Walking with the Wounded and The Royal British Legion.
