Leonardo DiCaprio takes The Road Home
Leonard DiCaprio recently made a very public announcement that he intended to take an indefinite break from acting to focus on his working on global campaigns to save the environment. However, he already seems to have been lured back to work with the prospect of a lead role in The Road Home.
Based on a novel by Michael Armour and set during the Great depression, the film would see DiCaprio playing a Californian rancher who decides to investigate a murder the police have chosen to ignore, with scandalous consequences.
Crazy Heart writer-director Scott Cooper will be adapting the novel and directing. Cooper will also take a producer role alongside DiCaprio and his Appian Way production company.
