Carey Mulligan To Play Hilary Clinton
Carey Mulligan is apparently the current frontrunner to land the role of a young Hilary Clinton in new film Rodham. The highly sought after British actress is reportedly the “top choice” for the producers behind the project, who previously took credit/responsibility for the Twilight Saga.
Although no deal is yet in place with The Great Gatsby star, she will reportedly now meet with director James Ponsoldt to discus the project. Based on a screenplay by newcomer Young Il Kim, the film will apparently focus on Hilary as a young lawyer, facing the dilemma of choosing between her own promising Washington career and the charms of a certain Arkansas gentleman called Bill.
Unfortunately the fact everyone on earth knows what choice she actually made renders it an even less convincing romantic dilemma than the pointless debate about Team Edward and Jacob.

John Paul Jones Chooses Opera Over Led Zeppelin 2014 Reunion
Led Zeppelin bassists and music legend John Paul Jones has dismissed recent speculation of a possible reunion tour for the iconic rock band next year in 2014. Robert Plant made a recent admission in an Australian television interview that his schedule was clear for 2014, coyly hinting at the possibility of a Zeppelin reunion. The band last performed together in 2007 for a one-off performance in honor of Atlantic Records executive Ahmet Ertegun, but the question of further plans to reunite on stage remains persistent.
Speaking to Red Carpet News at the after party for the London launch of Philip Glass opera The Perfect American, bass guitarist John Paul Jones gave a brief update on his own progress writing a new opera of his own. The multi-talented musician admitted that while he still plans to do small solo shows that don’t require any significant preparation, he definitely won’t be available for any Led Zeppelin reunion shows in 2014. It’s simply too full of opera for him.
