Versatile American character actor Paul Giamatti is set to follow up his current role as the villainous thug Rhino in The Amazing Spider-Man sequel with a stint in British period drama Downton Abbey.

Giamatti will be playing a maverick playboy character called Harold Levison, who just happens to be the wealthy brother of Lady Cora. It’s not yet known quite how much of a presence he’ll have in the forthcoming 4th series or beyond. But expect him to make a  saucy appearance at some point next season.
